9 runners today between 2 meetings;

Leopardstown;

ITS ALL GUESSWORK is up first with Davy Russell on board making his debut in the At The Races Maiden Hurdle, the 4 year old son of Mahler pleases at home and we hope for a nice introduction here today.

WOODFORD ISLAND is next in the Handicap Hurdle, he’s very consistent bar a few mishaps so we hope luck is on his side in a large field of 27 runners. Jack Kennedy rides.

DE PLOTTING SHED (pictured) contests the Christmas Hurdle, won last year by Prince Of Scars. This horse always runs his heart out and put in his best performance to date last time out when finishing 2nd in the Grade 2 Lismullen Hurdle at Navan. He faces a step up to Grade 1 company today but we hope for another great run under Jack Kennedy.

BULL RIDE takes on the Irish Daily Star Novice Handicap Hurdle, he has shown improvement in his last few runs with 2 wins and a narrowly beaten 2nd, Cian Collins keeps the ride and takes off a welcome 7lb.

DON POLI – David Mullins and OUTLANDER – Jack Kennedy both represent us in the Grade 1 Lexus Chase. The former looked to have completely lost his spark on his yard debut at Down Royal but has been hunting a couple of times since which we hope has sweetened him up! Outlander is such a star, always consistent and we don’t expect anything less from him here today.

Limerick;

CALIN DES ONGRAIS is our first Limerick runner in the Maiden Hurdle, he is yet to get his head in front and some of his runs have been uninspiring so he will need to step it up to feature here today. Keith Donoghue takes the ride.

STONE HARD is next in the Beginners Chase, again partnered by Keith. He’s pretty inconsistent after a promising start so we hope he can regain some of that better form, he’s won a Point to Point, a bumper and a hurdle so we hope we can add a chase to that list in the not too distant future.

MISSY TATA – Daryl Jacob makes up one of 4 runners in the Irish Independent Hurdle. Missy Tata at just 4 years old is now the winner of 5 races, 4 of them on the bounce and the last of which was a Grade 3. She is progressing all the time and we expect another good run from here today.
