Sunday 11th February

With 10 runners making their way to Punchestown today, we have two runners to kick off our day in the Maiden Hurdle, CALTEX makes his debut over hurdles, he has been schooling well and hopefully the change will do him good, Jack Kennedy rides. GER’S LAD steps up in trip today, which will hopefully bring out the best in him, Keith Donoghue rides.

HARDLINE has been mixing it in Grade 1 company and has not been disgraced, he is up against a small yet competitive field but can produce a really solid effort. Jack Kennedy rides.

SWINGBRIDGE has been mixing it between hurdles and fences lately and he goes back over hurdles today in the 3m Handicap Hurdle. He is very consistent and genuine and can hopefully get his head in front today. Davy Russell rides.

OURMANMASSINI was crowned champion point-to-pointer last year and he can run a big race today, Anthony Fox rides.

We have 4 which go to post in the Grade B “Grand National Trial Handicap Chase”. Woods Well ran a promising race to finish 5th in the Thyestes and he has Chris Meehan back on board. FOLSOM BLUE will love the trip and he has Jack Kennedy in the saddle. SPACE CADET ran a cracker off a low weight also in the Thyestes and hopefully he can run a big race, Brian Hayes rides. OUT SAM was a little disappointing on his latest outing in conditions that were too testing, hopefully today will suit better, Denis O’Regan rides.

GETAWAY JOHN is our final runner in the bumper, he has been hitting the crossbar and deserves to get his head in front, Jamie Codd rides.

Ayr

We have two runners that have made the journey to Ayr, HURRICANE VOLTA who lines up in the first race the 2m 4f Maiden Hurdle, he makes his debut for us with a first time tongue tie and has Andrew Ring on board.
