We have a busy day with 15 runners making their way to Punchestown Racecourse. We start with two in the Listed “Novice Hurdle”, CHOSEN MATE was an impressive winner on debut, he steps up in class and will need to prove his worth, Davy Russell rides. TINTANGLE won a listed mares bumper and hopefully she can rekindle her best form, Jack Kennedy rides.

In the Maiden Hurdle we have 4 going to post, ACRONYM who seems in good form at home and he has the assistance of Jack Kennedy on board, DARK DECADE will have to raise his game a little and he has Keith Donoghue in the saddle and LETHAL STEPS who showed improvement on his latest outing, hopefully he can go one better, Davy Russell rides.

LOAD UP TIME is our sole contender in the 3 mile Handicap Hurdle, he has definitely proven his has ability on his previous outings so fingers crossed with a step up in trip he can get off the mark for Arion Racing, Jack Kennedy rides.

MONATONIC finally got off the mark over the larger obstacles on his most recent outing and it would be nice to see him continue in winning ways, Jack Kennedy rides.

We have a strong contingency in the “”Boylesports National Trail Steeplechase” with 6 runners. DON POLI tops the weights with Kevin Brogan claiming 7lbs off his back. MONBEG NOTORIOUS was disappointing on his seasonal debut, but hopefully he will be sharper for that run, Keith Donoghue rides. DOUNIKOS was unfortunate to fall in the Thyestes when staying on, he has Davy Russell in the saddle. GENERAL PRINCIPLE, last years Irish Grand National winner will appreciate this step up in trip and he has Jack Kennedy in the saddle. WOODS WELL reverts back to the larger obstacles today and he has Denis O’Regan in the saddle. SPACE CADET will have to up his game, hopefully he can rekindle some of his earlier form, Mark Enright on board.

Our final runners of the day line up in the bumper. YENDO is a lovely big sort and he will have improved mentally for his debut, Jack Wildman rides. Cats for Cash has hit the crossbar on both his runs and fingers crossed he can go one better today, Lisa O’Neill rides.
