We head down to Roscommon for day two, with 7 runners:

The day starts with HAMMERSTEIN and TAKE A TURN in the 2m 4f Rated Novice Hurdle. HAMMERSTEIN was a decent winner of his Maiden Hurdle on only his second start over obstacles. He is in great form at home and it would be brilliant to see him record two victories on the bounce, Jack Kennedy rides. TAKE A TURN has shown plenty of potential on under both codes and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him run a big race, Davy Russell rides.

CHERIF DE L’ISLE makes his debut for the yard in the 2m 7f Handicap Hurdle, the imposing grey returns to the track after a year off, he has settled in very well here at Cullentra House Stables and it would be nice to see him make a mark on his debut for the yard, Davy Russell rides. DARLING MISS traveled home well after a successful trip to Perth, she is first reserve for this race.

FARCLAS bids to make it a hat trick of wins in the “BetVictor Novice Chase”. A previous Cheltenham Festival winner and an impressive winner on both his starts over the larger obstacles he looks more than capable of landing another pot like this. Davy Russell is back in the saddle.

We have 2 going to post for the biggest pot of the day the “The Tote.com Connacht National Handicap Chase”. NED STARK a four time winner in the UK makes his seasonal debut, he will love the trip and it would be great to see him run well for his owners, yard sponsors Noel and Valerie Moran. Jack Kennedy rides. CECIL CORBETT returns after a break, the veteran of the field tends to run well fresh and he has Davy Russell in the saddle.
