Today we are sending horses to two different tracks; Bellewstown and Wexford.

First up is CAPTAIN POWER who is going for the Meath Farm Machinery Handicap Hurdle over 5f. This will be Captain Power’s first run for the yard. He last won in November 2018 for Eddie Lynam and is partnered here by Gary Halpin. Hopefully he can make a pleasing debut for the yard. Next up is LETHAL STEPS in the Seamus Mulvaney Crockafotha Handicap Hurdle over 2m4f. He makes a return to hurdling after running at Royal Ascot in the Duke of Edinburgh. Denis O’Regan takes the reins. Finally, for Bellewstown, COOLONGOLOOK runs in the Kitchen Restaurant At The Thatch Novices’ Hurdle. 4th last time out and a winner before that, he looks to try and continue his good form. Denis O’Regan will take the ride.

Heading over to Wexford, MONITION runs in the first race, the Diageo Maiden Hurdle over 3m. He was third last time out in a similar contest at Downpatrick however, he is upped in trip today and Liam McKenna is on board. INVINCIBLE CAVE runs in the Neville Hotels Beginners Steeple Chase over 3m1f. A fine run last time out saw Invincible Cave and Paddy Merrigan finish 3rd. Hopefully they can continue the fruitful partnership and feature again. Also in this race is the consistent THE BIG LENSE, who will be ridden by Davy Russell. With two runners in the field it gives us a good chance of being competitive. Finally, MILL QUEST goes for the J Donohue BMW Steeple Chase. He’s a consistence type who was 5th last time out and Davy Russell takes the ride. SAINT OR SINNER has been declared for the bumper, however she is the second reserve, hopefully things go her way and we can take our chances.
