Today we send four horses to Leopardstown:
GERRY’S WAY is our first runner of the evening meeting at Leopardstown. He runs in The Stunning Handicap over 1m, the third race of the card. He is lightly raced and broke his maiden here at Leopardstown on his second last run. He does a little but better in the weights this time around and Declan McDonogh is onboard and the pair can hopefully continue a progressive streak.
There is a break of a couple of races before our next pair of runner. AUTHORIZO carries top weight in the Bulmers Live at Leopardstown Handicap, for that reason we have put 5lbs claimer Nathan Crosse on board. Authorizo is a winner of his sole flat race from when he ran in France. Hopefully this can freshen him up and get him back in the frame. Our other runner in this race is FALAK who will be heading to Leopardstown for the first time. He will also be guided by a 5lb claimer in the shape of Andrew Slattery. With a lower weight, he can hopefully run his race and get up to feature.
Our final runner of the evening is CHOSEN MATE, a promising young horse who is already a Graded Stakes winner over Hurdles. He looks to make an impression on the flat as well and can hopefully shed his maiden tag with Jamie Codd doing the steering.
