We’re back racing today after a few days of being away from the track. We send seven to Downpatrick.

starting off with a bang, we have two runners in the first, the I.N.H. Stallion Owners EBF Maiden Hurdle. MULTIFACTORIAL took well to his bumper assignments last season and finished on an impressive win. He is moving up through his education to the next stage now and Jack Kennedy will be guiding around. Our second horse in the race is THREE IS COMPANY, who is in good form. He has been running well without winning for his fast few runs and we’ve booked Davy Russell to try and move him up in the placings a bit.

Our next runner is SPORTY YANKEE in the MB McGrady & Co, Accountants Handicap Hurdle. He had is first run for us last time out and we’re still learning about him. We hope he can get a bit of cover and Jack Kennedy can get him around to a decent finish.

DEFINITE PLAN runs in the Molson Coors Maiden Hurdle. He has come to us with interesting form having been pulled up more times then he’s finished a race. However he’s had a long lay off and we hope we’ve got to the bottom of his issues. Davy Russell will be riding for the horses first start for the yard.

Last time out winner TIGER TWENTY TWO goes in the JP Corry Build Aviator Handicap Hurdle. This horse has come into himself since joining the yard and it was great to get a win so soon. Kevin Brogan is back in the saddle after his injury and will claim a valuable 7lbs off Tiger’s back.

ELWOOD runs in the Molson Coors Hurdle. There is only four runners in the race and Elwood makes his return after his summer break. It will be a tight enough contest as the others have already had a run this season. Jack Kennedy will be riding and the pair will surely come on for the run.

Lastly ALPHA INDI runs in the Molson Coors Beginners Steeple Chase. He hasn’t seen the track in over a year and bids to make his debut for the yard at the same time. He has been doing well at home and we hope Jack Kennedy and Alpha can get around safely.

We wish all our runners and rider the very best of luck and for a safe return.
