We didn’t manage to get any winners yesterday at Gowran but we return to the jumps today at Punchestown .

Our first runner of the afternoon is ECLAIR DE BEAUFEU in the Ladrokes The Nation Plays Beginners Steeple Chase. This will be his first time over bigger obstacles and he looks like the right type. He enjoys an ease in the going and was a classy enough hurdler. Jack Kennedy will be riding.

In the second race, the Ladbrokes Home Of Odds Boost Handicap Steeple Chase GRAINEYHILL will try to rectify his final fence fall when in the lead. He has been put up 3lbs for that race however but is in good form. Davy Russell will be doing the driving.

We send two forward for the next race, the Ladbrokes 3-Y-O Hurdle. LALIPOUR hasn’t been the best performer on the flat but we hope to change that now that he’s over hurdles. Jack Kennedy will ride. Our second runner in this race is RECENT REVELATIONS who is very lightly raced but loves a bit of softer ground. Luke Dempsey will be taking the ride.

Another of our winter horses gets the covers taken off him in the next, the Ladbrokes Where The Nation Plays Hurdle. COKO BEACH was a good 2nd in the Fred Winter last year and comes to Punchestown to get him started for the year. Jack Kennedy will be riding.

Another two will run in the Ladbrokes Home Of the Odds Boost Maiden Hurdle. HELL ON EARTH didn’t seem to fire in bumpers but has done well over his summer holidays. Jack Kennedy will be taking the ride. Our other horse in the race is SOLDIERS HILL whose weight allowance gives him a fair chance in this. The step up in trip will duly suit him and Davy Russell will take the ride.

We don’t have anything for the 6th race and move onto the last, the Black Hills Mares INH Flat Race, where we run LARQUEBUSE. She is a filly with plenty of talent and who needs a few more miles on the clock. Jamie Codd will be riding.

We wish all the horses the very best of luck and for a safe return.
