It’ll be hard to follow on from yesterday’s exploits at Down Royal but we’ll give it a good crack!

We start as we mean to go on and have SAINT D’OROUX in the Value Cabs 3YO Hurdle. This horse has come to us from France where he placed 2nd on his last start there. He is a very good looking horse and we have put Davy Russell on board.

Next is what we hope will be something special, ENVOI ALLEN makes his seasonal debut in the Tayto Group Maiden Hurdle. He was a superstar last season and now moves up to the task of taking on obstacles. We have booked Davy Russell to ride.

For our next race we have two runners. We have decided to claim off COUNT SIMON who will have Kevin Brogan on board. While STAR MAKER will have the skilled hands of Davy Russell. It’ll be very competitive but the horses seem to be in good form.

It’s the big one next and we take the covers off DELTA WORK. He has been going well at home and Keith has been put up. Our second runner in this is ALPHA DES OBEAUX who was very unlucky not to win last time out. He will have come on tremendously for that and Davy has been booked to ride.

We have another two going forward for the Daily Mirror Chase in the shape of BEN DUNDEE and MENGLI KHAN. Only 1lbs separates both horses and it’s only a 5 runner field. It won’t be the most straight forward but we hope they can do enough to be at the front

We have another nice one for Davy in the Rainbow Communications Handicap Chase with GRAINEYHILL. He was third last time out and we’d be hopeful for a similar performance here.

Lastly for Down Royal is EASYWORK in the Eventsec INH Flat Race. This is a lovely horse who can be a bit strong so we hope Jamie Codd has eaten his wheatabix this morning.

We wish all our runners and riders the very best of luck and for a safe return.
