It was another weekend to remember as we welcomed home our first winners of 2020. It’s safe to say we didn’t expect to score a 1099/1 4 timer at Cork on Saturday but all those winners were very welcomed by the team. It was great to top it all off with Envoi Allen maintaining his unbeaten record in the Lalors Novice Hurdle yesterday at Naas. We have a few more runners today over in Ayr, as we send 5 horses over.

Our first runner of the day is MISS ALOUD who goes in a Novice Hurdle race. She ran a really good race last time out where Paddy Merrigan gave her a patient ride. This looks like it might be a weaker event and we would be hopefully she can give a similar run. Richard Johnson will take the ride.

We don’t have anything for the second race and head straight for the Handicap Hurdle with SPORTY YANKEE. He is another one that ran his best race last time out when coming 2nd. It’s a similar story as we hope this will work out to be a weaker race. He is well in at the race and he will be piloted by Fergus Gregory, who enjoyed a very good weekend with a double at Newcastle.

We skip another race before we have OCEAN VOYAGE  in the Handicap Hurdle. She is at the heavier end of the weights here and might struggle on that basis. She has the ability to win and these UK races might be the best way to do that. Richard Johnson is in the saddle.

Finally we have two runners in the bumper, GET RICH DIE PLYIN and DEMOCRATIC OATH. Get Rich Die Plyin has the advantage of having run in a point to point where he came a very respectable 2nd. That should serve him well in this and he will be ridden by Richard Johnson. Our second runner in this is Democratic Oath, for which this will be his first racecourse experience. He will come on for that experience and he has Henry Brooke in the saddle.
