We’re back racing again and we have a nice few for Naas, 8 in fact.

Our first race is the second on the card which is also the feature race of the day, the Opera Hat Listed Mares Chase. It’s ended up being quite a small field where we have two runners. Our first is TINTANGLE who will be fitted with blinkers and Luke Dempsey. She’s not the most straight forward ride as she tries to duck out but Luke is the right man for the job. Our other runner in this is ISLE OF DESTINY who might get the chance to seek into a bit of small black type if she jumps well. Denis O’Regan has been booked to ride.

Moving on we have two runners in the Rated Novices’ Hurdle. ARAMAX has been dropped back in class after falling in a Grade 2 and should come on for the run. Mark Walsh has been booked to ride. Secondly we have RECENT REVELATIONS who was a winner last time out so has been given a slightly harder task here. Davy Russell has been booked to ride.

Next is a big field handicap where we have FAKIERA, he has had a few goes in bumpers and now moves up to hurdles. It’ll be a bit of a mad scramble with the size of the field and he’ll need some luck in running. Davy Russell has been booked to ride him.

SONG OF NAMIBIA runs in the 1m 7f handicap hurdle. He’ll have it to do since he’s at the top of the weights so we’ve put Jack Wildman on board who will take 2lbs off. It’s another big runners handicap so plenty of luck will be needed.

We don’t have anything for the next race but we do have two for the bumper. GEVREY will be having his first go on the track and we have put Paddy Vaughan up who will be taking 7lbs off. Our other runner is THE CARETAKER who ran a very nice race on debut coming a respectable 3rd. Jamie Codd has been jocked up.

We wish all our runners and riders the very best of luck and for a safe return.
