Graceland ran a cracker on Saturday to scoop some place prize money for her connections on first time of asking with us. Today we have 6 runners across the two Irish flat meetings. We send 4 horses to our local Fairyhouse and 2 to Roscommon.

Our first runner of the afternoon is SILVER STAR in the 1m4f Ballyhane Stud maiden. He came 3rd on debut as a 2yo and has been successful over hurdles having won twice. It should be a good contest for him to get back racing and we have booked Declan McDonogh.

We have two runners for the Division 1 Meath Handicap TAKE A TURN who occupies the position as top weight and WALKABOUT who sits in mid division onf the weights. The weight might be a hinder to Take A Turn, but he will coming into this fresh and with the help of Chris Hayes. Walkabout looks like he might fair better with his assignment as he is off a similar mark to when he won last year. Declan McDonogh will ride.

Finally for Fairyhouse we have TRONADOR in the 2nd Division of the Meath Handicap. This horse found a different gear when sent juvenile hurdling and was good enough to go to Cheltenham. This looks a good place to get his season on the road and plenty to build on from here. Declan McDonogh rides.

Moving onto Roscommon we have LONGCLAW in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden over 1m2f. This horse has more airmiles then most on show here today and was 3rd in a Listed Stateside as a 2yo. His pedigree suggests he should improve for time and the sire is already enjoying a great season with classic winner Kameko and Curragh Gr3 winner Crossfirehurricane. Leigh Roche has been booked to ride.

Our final runner of the day is IRISH ART in the Ivan Connaughton Auctioneers Handicap again over 1m2f. This horse makes a switch back to the flat and is off an a career low mark. Leigh Roche has been booked to ride.

We wish all our runners and riders the best of luck and for a safe days racing.
