It was great to bring home another winner last night along with some very good placings. We’ll be back on the road to Bellewstown today as we send 7 runners and 3 reserves.

Our first hopeful is Avanzi who is currently sat as third reserve. With the large amount of waterfall recently there will certainly be a few non runners throughout the meeting as the going might have the potential to change. He has only had one run in a bumper and got third place. Hopefully he gets in and he can have his first spin over hurdles.

SAINT OR SINNER won’t have to worry about reserves as she is assured a place in the race. A bumper winner first time out, she hasn’t quite gelled to hurdling as of yet. Jack Wildman gets the leg up today and will be claiming 7lbs and will hopefully be what she needs.

We have two very nice horses for the Equine mediRecord Hurdle for 4yos over 2m. BATTLE OF WILLS was non-runnered last time out due to pulling a shoe at the start so wasn’t given a chance to run his race. He has a bit of class on the flat and we’ll be looking to see if he can build on last seasons efforts with Davy Russell in the saddle. RECENT REVELATIONS ran a very good race to come a close 2nd last time after the break from racing. He will have come on for the run and will be the main danger to Battle Of Wills, Denis O’Regan rides.

There is a break of two races until we see TAKE A TURN who just got caught behind rivals at Sligo most recent and finished with a strong run to the line. Fitness is no question for this horse as he has been running well up to his mark on the flat as of late, Keith Donoghue rides. FROM EDEN’s race last time out got off to a bad start and kept on that way throughout. Hopefully he is better then that and he can show us a bit more live this time around. Enzani also sits as third reserve for this event, he has been off for a while but is very good on his day.

The enigmatic TIGER TWENTY TWO lines up for the Racing Again August 25-27 Handicap Hurdle. This horse stays all day so as long as he is well placed in his race he should be in with a chance of a good run, Davy rides. Alongside him is ROBIN DEUZ POIS as first reserve. She has really come to life since starting for the yard and should be a very fun horse for connection throughout the season.

Finally we have JAWBOX in the bumper, He ran a very good race on debut and was just a bit green once he got in front. He will have come on for the experience and we will be very much looking forward to seeing him run, Jamie Codd rides.
