Today we have five runners across Galway with the flat and Kilbeggan with jumps.

Our sole flat runner today is CATHERINE CHROI, who showed a great attitude to improve and grab 5th at Sligo the last day. This should even things out as she doesn’t carry much and we will be using Nathan Crosse to claim 5lbs. Fingers crossed this filly can continue to improve and break her duck.

Moving over to the jumps we start off with IMPERIAL ALLURE in the Tom McCormack Memorial Mares Maiden Hurdle. She was very disapointing the last day and didn’t show up. We continue to seek a maiden hurdle victory with her and have employed Keith Donoghue to ensure a good round of jumping.

There is a break of two races before SANTANA PLESSIS  was denied victory here the last day and looks in good order to take a maiden hurdle. We know the track suits and have Denis O’Regan in the plates. It looks like an open enough event and the horse is continuing to improve.

A consistent mare, ROBIN DEUZ POIS fits in nicely to this handicap hurdle as we look to claim a further 5lbs with the aide of Sean O’Keeffe. This will be her second spin over hurdles rather then fences and hasn’t moved from her previous mark. The tight turning track looks to suit her as well so we will be looking forward to seeing a positive run.

Finally we have MIRACLE IN MEDINAH who hasn’t been able to find his form so we change the plan and go over fences this season. Jody McGarvey has been jocked up and blinkers will be fitted for his debut over fences.
