It was a case of lucky number seven yesterday as both our winners that topped and tailed the card wore the lucky number cloth. It was great to get two first time out winners and Sam’s Choice who was Brides maid to Gordon’s Jet is sure to come on from the run.

Today we head to Punchestown again for the second day of their meeting. We’re not blessed with luck in the first race as we are third reserve with Call Me Lyreen who has been jocked up with Keith Donoghue in the hope one comes out. This horse is owned by the same connections as Sam’s Choice so it could be a very good 24hrs if he gets in.

Last time out winner THE SLIDING ROCK takes a step up to Novice company as she also takes a step back in trip. There are a number of more seasoned athletes in this that may get the better of her but it was great to see the improvement that was brought about by the switch, Bryan Cooper has been booked to ride.

For the Enter Now For Goffs December National Hunt Sale Maiden Hurdle we have a GET RICH DIE PLYIN who will be partnered by Jack Kennedy for his first ride since his horror fall last season. This horse looks more suited to hurdles then bumpers having run well in his sole point to point start. It’ll be great to see Jack back and we will be hoping for a safe trip.

For the Conway Piling Handicap Hurdle we have another ride for Jack in the shape of CHERIF DE L’ISLE. He’s bee running well and in good form and this should be a nice one for Jack.

In the first bumper GLAN looks to back up her win last time out with another good showing as this looks to be her ground. Jamie Codd has been booked to ride.

Finally in the boys edition of the bumper we have BALLYMONEY a good looking son of Getaway. This has been a lucky race for us in the past and it would be nice to think this lad could be up with some of our past winners, Jamie Codd takes the ride.
