It’s finally the start of the weekend! And one that will particularly quiet as it is Champions Weekend and we won’t have any runners this year. But before that we head to Kilbeggan with 8 horses and have one reserve in Limerick.
SARDONYX lies as third reserve in the opener at Limerick today and looks highly unlikely to go she has showed improvement and ran better than the result suggests. We have made other entries for her and look forward to seeing her run.
In Kilbeggan we have BALLY DUN LISS who will be partnered by Paul Cawley who will be having his first ride for us in the Tullamore Mares Maiden Hurdle. She may find this company difficult but the extra 7lbs off her back should help. Felicidad is currently sitting as third reserve with nothing having come out. She has a live chance of doing well and Jack Kennedy has been booked just in case.
MAM TRASNA ran a nice race considering his long lay off before it. It looks like there may be one or two standing in his way of winning this one. It looks a nice race for him Keith Donoghue has been booked to ride.
We have a break of a few races and then have two runners in the Belvedere House, Gardens Novice Hurdle over 3m1f. METAL MAN ran very well the last day to finish second on soft ground. It looks like he’s starting to hit his stride again after a lull and is the mount of Jack Kennedy. SOLDIERS HILL doesn’t have the advantage of Metal Man at the weights and we’re looking forward to seeing him bounce back to form, Keith Donoghue has been booked to ride.
GIVE HIM TIME goes in the Follow Kilbeggan On Twitter Handicap Hurdle again over 3m1f. This horse’s race finished early the last day as he hit a fence in the back straight putting him out of contention. He will be over hurdles again today after that and is fresh coming here, Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.
Finally in the last race we have two runners. Old boy CECIL CORBETT looks to be off a good mark here today, Keith Donoghue has been booked to ride. TIMIYAN will be the mount of Mark Walsh and will have cheek pieces fitted today.
