It’s a lovely crisp morning as we hope to send 8 to Downpatrick this afternoon.

First up we have TULLYBEG in the INH Stallion Owners EBF Maiden Hurdle over 2m6f. It was a very uncharacteristic move from this horse last week as he ducked out at the first leaving Jack on the floor. He comes here non the worse and should get the trip no problem. Davy Russell has been chosen to ride.

Dessie Deschamps sits as 3rd reserve at present with no phone calls for the 2nd race. It doesn’t look likely that he’s going to get in at this stage.

For the third race we have ENNEMI PUBLIC who currently sits as second favourite. This will be his first venture out this season having run respectfully in this sphere last season, Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride. O Connell Street currently sits as first reserve and we have booked Davy Russell in the hope one comes out.

CURLEW HILL will benefit from the small field here but faces a few strong rivals. He’s a bit out on ratings to Noel Meade’s horse and he will be ridden by Jack Kennedy.

THE ABBEY has taken quite well to chasing and goes here seeking to build on his last start. He seems to be suffering slightly from seconditis at the moment but hopefully today can see the end of that. Davy Russell has been booked to ride.

Finally in the bumper we have two new comers, CORRAN CROSS who was a good winner of his point to point and looks to make a similar start to his career under rules with Jamie Codd in the saddle. IMPERIAL SACHIN’S is out of a bumper winner so shouldn’t be underestimated, Lisa O’Neill has been booked to ride.
