Our horses today are split across Wexford and Galway as National Hunt takes center stage for the day.

First we will have a look at Galway where we attack the second race with 3 of the 8 runners. BRAESIDE leads the pack, he was 4th on his season reappearance and probably needed the run but maybe also didn’t quite get home. He is dropped back in trip and will be partnered by Bryan Cooper. COKO BEACH is another making a return to the track and is a ready made chaser but again might need the run, Keith Donoghue has been booked to ride. Finally we have PENCILFULLOFLEAD who is full of talent having won a good winners bumper on his first start and being useful over hurdles. This will be his first start over fences and Rachael Blackmore has been booked to ride.

For the next race we send all the Minellas as we have MINELLA TILL DAWN and MINELLAFORDOLLARS. The pair have similar profiles and look to get their seasons off to a nice start here.

For the Anna O’Coinne Memorial Handicap Chase we have MIRACLE IN MEDINAH, Mark Walsh has been booked to ride in what looks a good competitive handicap.

For the feature race of the day at Galway we have a new recruit, GRAND ROI stepping out for the first time for us in this 4 runner Grade 3 hurdle. He was a very highly thought of horse over in the UK before joining us and is one we will be aiming at the big days, Mark Walsh has been booked to ride.

We go double handed again in the next, a maiden hurdle over 2m4f. COQOLINO got beat by what looks a very smart horse on his only bumper run. He is himself a point to point winner so jumping should be no issue, Mark Walsh has been booked to ride. FOXHOLE makes his return to the track after a long break and looks to get his season off to a positive start, he will be ridden by 7lbs claimer Jack Wildman.

Over in Wexford we start the day off with two in the Hook Head Maiden Hurdle. MR JACKMAN has provided connections great entertainment so far with winning two and coming 2nd on his last start. He looks talented and they should have some more fun with him here, Denis O’Regan has been booked to ride. CRACKAWAY stayed on stoutly on soft going two starts ago showing real heart and grit he will be ridden by Eoin O’Connell who claims 5lbs.

Our next potential runners at Wexford come in the 4th where Imperial Allure and Saint Or Sinner sit as first and second reserves respectfully. We will be waiting to hear if they get in.

Finally in the Beginners chase we have GOLDEN NOMAD who stayed on well to finish 2nd over fences last time out. We’ll be hoping he comes on from that as he is a horse who works well at home, Denis O’Regan has been booked to ride.
