The rain has continued to fall around Ireland and has even turned into snow in some spots but we continue with Leopardstown and Limerick after an inspection this morning.

We go straight into Leopardstown where we have two runners in the opener, a maiden hurdle over 2m4f. BOLD GETAWAY comes to us from the pointing field and the form of his last race has worked out pretty well, with Percy Warner going on to win on the track since, Keith Donoghue has been booked to ride. INDIGO BREEZE has proved to be an exciting prospect going into this having won two in a row and was narrowly beaten by a horse who came 3rd in the Grade 1 yesterday. Jack Kennedy has been booked and it looks like it could be an exciting race.

The next race is a Pertemps Qualifier where we have three that could run a huge race. CRACKING SMART heads the field as top weight and we have decided to claim off him with Jack Wildman removing 7lbs. COMMANDER OF FLEET switches back to hurdling after not running his race the last day, he is another who we will be claiming off as Eoin O’Connell claims 5lbs. Jack Kennedy is onboard THE BOSSES OSCAR who was well beaten the last day but has not moved for that performance in the weights and may struggle against some better handicapped horses.

It looks a very exciting renewal of the Christmas Hurdle as we send three strong runners. FURY ROAD came back with a Grade 2 win to kick off his season and he looks a really exciting type who is well capable of performing on the big days and he is the choice of Jack Kennedy. SIRE DU BERLAIS is another one who has showed he still has zest for the game and will be ridden by Mark Walsh. Finally THE STORYTELLER has already reached great heights this year and could do yet again here, Denis O’Regan has been booked to ride.

We have a race off to catch our breath before what could be one of the most exciting races of the festive period. The Savills Chase has come up to be a great race and we are lucky enough to send three tough horses. DELTA WORK goes into this as the highest rated horse of the field and he has the benefit of having had a run this season already and can blossom at this time of the year, Jack Kennedy has chosen to ride him. PRESENTING PERCY is the next best on ratings and has really found his confidence again when winning a Listed chase at Thurles, Denis O’Regan has been booked to ride. Finally we have SAMCRO, again he’ll come to this better for having had a run and Sean Flanagan has been booked to ride.

FLOUEUR didn’t jump great on his last start so returns for another Beginners Chase which has thrown up a few nice horses. We expect him to be able to build on his last run and hopefully be competitive here with Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

Finally for Leopardstown we have HAMUNDARSON who has plenty of experience on his side and has performed well in bumpers in the past. Hugh McOwan has been booked to ride and takes off 7lbs.

Thankfully Limerick has got the go-ahead and they have added an extra race to the due to it being cancelled yesterday. We don’t have anything for the opener and move to the rescheduled Grade 2 Novice Hurdle where we will have just one runner as Ragnar Lodbrok has not travelled down due to the ground. FAROUK D’ALENE will be our only runner. He is a very talented horse who just didn’t fire the last day and we will be hoping to put that behind us with Keith Donoghue being booked to ride.

HEREDITARY RULE goes for the maiden hurdle over 2m5f. This horse has been running very well and deserves his shot here, Conor Orr has been booked to ride and takes 3lbs off.

Dessie Deschamps won’t be going as he didn’t get in in time unfortunately.

LALIPOUR goes for the CUBE Handicap Hurdle over 3m. He will be right at the bottom of the handicap with Conor Orr riding and taking another 3lbs off the already low 10st. Hopefully this will give him the help he needs to run a good race.

ELWOOD will be our only runner in the Grade B Tim Duggan Memorial Chase over 2m3f. He hasn’t been the putting his best foot forward this season and we have decided to use 7lbs claimer Gavin Brouder to try and help him here. Gun Digger was the third reserve and didn’t get the call in time.

We will only have DIAMOND TURF in the Rated Novices Chase as Take a Turn was non-runnered due to the very heavy conditions at Limerick today. Diamond Turf has run well on soft to heavy before having come 2nd and hopefully he can run well here but it will be a tough race.

Finally in the bumper we have WHERE IT ALL BEGAN who is built like a big old fashioned chaser and one we will be great fun. Today will be a strong test as it is his first run and with the ground having had plenty of racing by the time this comes around. Jamie Codd has been booked to ride.
