The sun has finally come out as we head to Navan for Boyne Hurdle day! We send some really nice horses forward for their card today and hopefully we’ll have plenty of luck.

For the opener, the Grade 2Novice Chase we have Thyestes victor COKO BEACH. He faces a small field here of only four other runners and unlike last time will be off level weights with his competitors, Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

Minellafordollars goes for the Handicap Chase over 3m where he is off a really nice weight, Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

THE SLIDING ROCK goes for the Listed Apples Jade Novice Hurdle. This mare has really come into herself and formed a good partnership with Bryan Cooper and hopefully they can continue to build on their good progress.

A race we look forward to every year is the Boyne Hurdle and like clockwork we again send some very experienced horses. TIGER ROLL sets out on his journey to Cheltenham and has his loyal companion Keith Donoghue in the saddle, he’s been in fine form at home and headgear has been switched to cheekpieces. FURY ROAD runs under a penalty and has excuses for his run over Christmas, he is the choice of Jack Kennedy.

We only have one runner in the Grade 3 Novice Hurdle as Ragnar Lodbrok is now a non-runner. FRONTAL ASSAULT found things tough against older opposition the last day but is back in Novice company and in a smaller field which will give him a better chance of giving a good account of himself, Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

Maiden Hurdles are proving tough to get into at the moment but we were luckily enough to get two into this one. COQOLINO  was a faller the last day but has been using himself better at home recently and can hopefully put that fall behind him and will be ridden by Jody McGarvey. ROBINSTOWN is the pick of Jack Kennedy and his form looks to be going the right way with the winner of his point to point winning again since.

FIERAMI is our only runner in the Handicap Hurdle over 2m5f where he will face a full field. He is off a high mark for this so we have decided to claim off him with Jordan Gainford taking off 7lbs.

Finally we have the very exciting GINTO who will be partnered by Jamie Codd. The ground looked much too heavy for him the last day and every bit of sun will serve to his advantage out there today.
