It’s the beginning of the end as we head towards the last week of the 20/21 season. With rain forecast today and for the week it could turn the results on its head.

Our first runner of the festival is ONE DOWN in the Say Yes To Organ Donation Novice Handicap Hurdle over 2m, where Jordan Gainford has been booked to claim 7lbs of the second top weight. He showed some quality when 4th in a Graded event and the drying ground could be in his favour. He will have cheek pieces on for the first time and hopefully that’ll help him.

Next up we have two runners for the Grade B Kilashee hotel Handicap Hurdle over 2m where MAGIC TRICKS looks the pick of our pair with Mark Walsh booked to ride. CALL ME LYREEN has run plenty of big races and is a graded winner. He is another one who should appreciate the drying conditions and will hopefully get a smooth trip in this big field with Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

We double up again for the Land Rover Bumper where NONBINDING looks to keep up his good family name being a half brother to Champion Bumper winner Ferny Hollow. It’s a competitive ask on debut and Jamie Codd has been booked to ride in an attempt to carry him over the line in the amateurs championship. LAFFITE also makes his debut in this has a nice pedigree and is the brother to a smart bumper winner in the UK and will have Lisa O’Neill in the saddle.

Finally in the last race we have WHATCOLORISTHEWIND, a very good looking daughter of Shirocco. She comes from a good family and will get the fillies allowance here and Jamie Codd will be onboard.
