Wednesday 20th of January

We were a bit unlucky yesterday as Jack got unseated coming with a good run and Dunboyne just found one too good. They were both very positive runs and give us plenty to work with for the future.

We only have one runner today in Dundalk as we bring down ELUSIVE GIGOLO for the Div II Irishinjuredjockeys.com Maiden over 1m4f. There are a few well bred ones in this who are plenty exposed to their ability and this will be our first run with him on the All Weather, he wasn’t quite getting home on his bumper starts hence the cut back in trip. He had the winter to strengthen up and that will be a huge benefit to him, Billy Lee has been booked to ride.

Tuesday 19th of January

just the two runners heading over to Clonmel today. Our first is DUNBOYNE in the D Monroe Maiden Hurdle over 2m. He ran a very good race behind the now Grade 1 winning Bob Olinger so he could be very exciting. This should be a fairer test today without a horse like that so we hope he can show us what he has, Keith Donoghue has been booked to ride.

Finally our second runner of the afternoon is GEVREY in the Munster Rated Novice Hurdle. There might be a few better horses in this but he’s a very tough horse who always tries, Jack Kennedy takes the ride.

Monday 18th of January

It turned out to be a great weekend for us, kicking off with a double in Dundalk along with 3 winners in Fairyhouse and the mighty Envoi Allen in Punchestown yesterday. Today we go back to Punchestown for another day of jumping.

We start the day with two in the juvenile hurdle over 2m. RAAMEZ had some teething problems the last day as he went around over hurdles for the first time in the snow on New Years Eve and he will be ridden by Keith Donoghue here today. SAEER handled things much better and was 5th on his first start, the conditions look to be very similar today bar the snow and yesterday’s Moscow Flyer winning jockey Denis O’Regan has been booked to ride.

For the John Thomas McNamara QR Handicap Hurdle we have FIERAMI who will be ridden by Rob James who will not be able to use his claim here today. He has a good chance in thisand has the right man on board.

Last time out bumper winner HUMBLE GLORY returns to hurdling and this looks right up her road. She was 2nd over 2m5f on heavy ground and a winner over 2m2f in a bumper also on heavy. Jack Kennedy will ride and hopefully this progressive filly will continue on her rise.

Our next pair of runners come in the Ladbrokes Watch Racing Online Maiden Hurdle over 3m. COMMAND CHAIN heads the field with Keith Donoghue in the saddle as he takes his first start on the track, he is a well bred individual and can hopefully run a nice race on his first start. FANTASIO D’ALENE has moved into hurdling very well having come 2nd on his first start. He has a bit of class about him and this looks a great race to take advantage of, Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

Finally in the bumper we have CUTE CHERRY. This filly seems to be learning all the time and took a big step forward the last day to come second. This looks another potentially open event which she can hopefully take advantage of and we have booked Jamie Codd to ride.

Sunday 17th of January

It’s a special day at Punchestown as we kick off in the most spectacular fashion.

ENVOI ALLEN opens the card in the Grade 3 Killiney Novice Chase which looks to have a great head to head on hand. Unbeaten Envoi takes on the exciting Asterion Forlonge in the 2m4f as both look to get ready for the big spring races. We give away a huge amount of weight here so it’ll be a strong test and Jack Kennedy will take the ride.

MAGIC TRICKS goes in the Moscow Flyer, a Grade 2 over 2m. He put any doubt behind him when he powered home by 8 lengths to win his maiden hurdle the last day. Again this will be a hot contest but it’ll be great to see him compete against good horses, Mark Walsh rides.

For the Punchestown Maiden Hurdle we have two runners. DON DIABLO will be the mount of Keith Donohue as he takes to hurdling for the first time. Our other runner is EXCELCIOR who will be ridden by Jack Kennedy.

We have one runner in the Mares Handicap Hurdle where the consistent AMOR VERDADERO takes her place. She looks in a good position to take advantage of this and she will be ridden by Jack Kennedy.

HELL ON EARTH lines up for the Beginners Chase as he takes on 14 rivals. This combination of Hell on Earth and Paul Cawley where very successful last time out where they came second. Hopefully they can build on that result.

Finally in the Qualified Riders Handicap Chase we have two runners, OUT SAM and MINELLAFORDOLLARS. Out Sam will be ridden by 7lbs claimer Rob James who will have a great handle on him and his claim gives him a better chance of finishing in the frame. Minellafordollars will be ridden by Jamie Codd who gets in off a nice mark here and will have blinkers on for today’s event.

Saturday 16th of January

We’re back jumping again in what looks like a very tough day at Fairyhouse. The ground looks like it could cut up making it very testing going for the horses later on in the day.

Up first is TEAHUPOO in the ITM Vertual Stallion Trail Hurdle. This horse has already received quote for the Triumph and we hope he can live up to the hype. He comes to us already a winner in France but he will be coming up against some other very hot juveniles here where he will be ridden by Puppy Power.

Division I of the Mares maiden hurdle we have a new recruit CALLAGHY ROSE. She goes back to the likes of One Cool Cookie and her dam won a bumper on her only start. This daughter of Court Cave has already had a taste of the track and should surly improve for it and will be ridden by Jack Kennedy.

PASSION VIEW runs in Div II of the Mares maiden and comes with a slightly different profile. She is already a winner of a point to point so is well schooled over obstacles. This looks the more difficult of the two races but she will be well up for it.

Next up in the Handicap Hurdle over 2m7f where we have two runners. ELWOOD makes the switch back to hurdles having lost his confidence over fences recently. This should be a great confidence boost for this talented horse and he will be ridden by Eoin O’Connell who claims 5lbs. SWORDSMAN will be the mount of Jack Kennedy who returns from a bit of a lay off but should run well.

The feature of the day is next, the Grade A Dan & Joan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase over 2m1f. CHOSEN MATE is top weight for this event and will be ridden by Keith Donoghue. OR JAUNE DE SOMOZA has only had the two starts with us so far and has run well on both those occasions, he will be ridden by Jack Kennedy. TIMOTEO is another one that has been running well and will be partnered by Denis O’Regan. DAKOTA MOIRETTE currently sits as first reserve and we will have to wait.

We have another two for the Beginners Chase over 2m1f where THATSY will take on ARAMAX. Thatsy has had three runs over fences now so is well able for this and will be ridden by Jack Kennedy. ARAMAX has one less start but should find improvement in this and will be ridden by Keith Donoghue.

MORATORIUM goes for the Rated Novices Chase where he will be ridden by Kevin Sexton. He has placed in some pretty hot chases this season and looks to take on this open looking race

Finally in the bumper we have GERRI COLOMBE who was an expensive point to point purchase and looks an exciting prospect as he makes his rules debut under the guidance of Jamie Codd.

Friday the 15th of January

It looks like we’ll have just the two runners today as Sister Eliza sat as third reserve and didn’t get in so unfortunately won’t be making it up to Dundalk tonight.

First up this evening will be GLORIOUS ZOFF who returns to his roots as he runs in the Irishinjuredjockeys.com Rated Race over 1m4f. This will be his first run on the flat over 1m but he should stay well enough as he looks a talent juvenile hurdler. This looks a great race to take advantage off and we have put 7lbs claiming ace Sam Ewing onboard to make the most of it.

Next we have CATHERINE CHROI in the 1m Hollywoodbets Horse Racing And Sports Betting Apprentice Handicap. This filly improved towards the end of the season as she posted two third place finishes at this venue. She will be paired with first time blinkers in an attempt to eek out that extra bit of improvement and she will have Sam Ewing on board who claims 2lbs in this event.

Wednesday 13th of January

It was great to get of the mark yesterday and see the horses run so well. We head to Naas today for the Lawlor’s day card.

We don’t have any runners in the early races and move straight onto the third race of the day, the Eastcoast Seafood & Gouldings Handicap Chase over 2m. DAKOTA MOIRETTE is our only runner in this and he has scored third place twice on the trot now. He has cheekpieces fitted and it looks a good race to try and take advantage of, Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

It’s the big race of the day, one which we have a great record in and for which we have two runners in today. RAGNAR LODBROK will be the mount of Mark Walsh and has been placed twice in Listed and Graded company since winning. He will have cheekpieces fitted for the first time today to help. WIDE RECEIVER got his win the other day and is another who was graded placed recently, he looks to be getting into the swing of things and will have Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

We have another two in the next, a maiden hurdle over 1m7f. DIRECT FIRE showed us some welcomed improvement and could well improve again here although this looks very competitive, Keith Donoghue has been booked to ride. Grand Paradis could be anything as he looks likely to head the betting. This will a different test for him as it is his first time over hurdles and he will have Jack Kennedy in the saddle.

ENNEMI PUBLIC is our only runner in the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Hurdle over 2m3f and will be the ride of Jack Wildman who claims 4lbs in this. It’s a full field and he has every chance being one of the top rated horses in it.

Finally in the bumper we have the very well bred EYEWITNESS who is a Dark Angel half brother to Expert Eye. This horse has plenty more stamina than him and Dark Angel’s have been known to be pretty handy in the national hunt sphere. Hopefully he has some of his brothers class and he will be ridden by Jamie Codd.

Tuesday 12th of January

We’re back over solid jumps today as we head down the road to Fairyhouse for their rescheduled card. The track looks like it’ll be quite heavy now it has thawed out and that we have had some rain since so it’ll be a very tough test.

First up in the opener we have two runners, ARDHILL and DESIRE DE JOIE. Ardhill yet again left us scratching our heads after his run the last day and may be bound for handicaps in this sphere. Desire De Joie may find this a bit short but the testing conditions are bound to make that feel much further, Jack Kennedy takes the ride.

Next up we are double handed again in the maiden hurdle over 2m as FIELDS OF DREAMS tries again alongside PURDEY’S GIFT. Fields of dreams looks hard to settle in his races at the moment and its as much us learning about him as him learning about jumps racing, he’s a nice horse and should run better here today with Keith in the saddle. Purdey’s Gift is much more relaxed and takes his first run over hurdles, he should be well suited by this and is the pick of Jack Kennedy.

PERCY WARNER finds himself in a competitive hurdle over 2m. This horse showed great fighting spirit the last day to ware down his competitors and win on the line. He has to give some weight away in this but hopefully he can take the step up well, Jack Kennedy has been booked to ride.

We send three mares forward for the Mares maiden hurdle over 2m4f with DAPHNE MOON carrying the most. This mare should be well suited by the conditions and has Keith Donoghue booked to ride. SAY GOODBYE is at the polar end and will have Jack Kennedy on board and can hopefully find improvement. Finally our reserve ANNIEGUIRE got in so she will be ridden by Sean O’Keeffe.

Finally our last runner of the day is HOMME D’UN SOIR in yet another maiden hurdle this time over 2m4f. This horse is well able for this if he can piece together a good round of jumping and will be the mount of Jack Kennedy.
