WALKABOUT (pictured) is up first in this valuable Handicap Hurdle of just 5 runners, he will need to improve on his recent form however he won this race last year under Jack Kennedy. Davy Russell takes the reins for this years renewal.

MASTERSON is next in the 2m5 Maiden Hurdle on his second start for the yard, we expect him to have come on for his yard debut and he’s in great shape at home. Davy Russell rides.

STEAMBOAT QUAY contests the next, a 2m5 Handicap Hurdle under Conor Brasil’s 5lb claim. He won well at Bellewstown last month and looks to have a super chance again here today.

YOUGHALL BY THE SEA makes his yard debut in the final race, the son of Milan is in great form at home, benefits from prior experience and has one of the best in Jamie Codd on board.

Friday 11th August

Just the 2 runners at Tipperary today;

MONKEYLOU contests the Coolmore Ivawood Stakes, he was very impressive on his debut at Listowel and heads here in fantastic form to face 9 runners in this 7f event. Declan McDonogh rides.

Wednesday 9th August

4 runners at Sligo today;

DELEGATE (pictured) returns after a short break to contest the Beginners Chase, he’s in great order at home and looks a million dollars – he’s yet to get off the mark over fences but he’s a 3 time winner over hurdles. Davy Russell takes the ride.

PAHASKA – Conor Brassil and PENNY JANE – Davy Russell both represent us in the Mares Beginners Chase. The former benefits from Conor’s 5lb claim as well as bottom weight but Penny Jane making her Chase debut today looks to be our best chance of the two.
